We’re a group of unionists at Sydney University who believes our union needs to be democratic, powerful and fighting to be effective. We believe that the centre of any successful union is strong rank and file self activity in its membership.
2026 Bargaining
RAFA believes that it is essential for the union to develop a militant and member-led movement that can reset our working conditions and restore our very ability to campaign for our rights. It is this objective that is at the core of RAFA’s view on the NTEU and bargaining. We need strategic thinking that is centred on grassroots and democratic organising, because it is our membership that gives us power in the workplace.
